We are so excited to welcome you to Ryerson University and the Yeates School of Graduate Studies! Please take some time to look through the NEW STUDENT GUIDE. This guide will help you prepare for the upcoming academic year.

Our campus is located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Everything you need is virtually within walking distance. To help you become familiar with the University, please view our campus map.

Some important time-sensitive material from the New Student Guide have been listed below:

New Student Orientation

Date: Monday August 21st
Time: 4:10pm to 5:30pm
Location: POD368 (Podium Building, third floor)

There will be a short presentation with useful information to new students in our program. Food and drinks will be provided and you will have the chance to meet with some of the faculy members in the Department of Economics.

Ryerson OneCard

The OneCard is the official identification card for the Ryerson Univesity Community. As well as being the single most important piece of ID you possess during your time here at Ryerson it also serves as a convenience card for many of the services available on campus, including the library, printing and photocopying, food purchases, discounts, savings and more.

Mathematics and Statistics Review Course

Schedule: Monday August 21st, to Friday September 1st
Time: 10am to 12pm, lunch break/office hours, 2pm to 4pm
Room: VIC203 (Victoria Building, 2nd floor)
Final Exam: Friday September 1st, in the classroom

This is a pass/fail, non-credit course. Students who fail their first attempt at the final exam will have one opportunity to rewrite the exam. Students who fail on their second attempt will be asked to withdraw from the program.
